Maryland Minimum Wage Set to Increase

Thanks to a new law passed on May 5, 2014, the Maryland minimum wage is set to increase incrementally to $10.10.  The Maryland law will phase in the increase, raising the minimum wage from its current $7.25 to $8.00 on January 1, 2015, $8.25 on July 1, 2015, $8.75 on July 1, 2016, $9.25 on July 1, 2017, and $10.10 on July 1, 2018.
